Winners will be selected by a jury of experts from the fields of design, technology and sustainability. An exhibit of competition entries is planned at the conclusion of the competition. Up to two members from each winning team will be invited to attend the BrickStainable Awards Program at the National Building Museum on March 31, 2011 including hotel and airfare expenses.

The design jury will convene in early 2011 to select winning projects and honorable mentions. Winning teams will receive prizes valued at nearly $50,000 including cash prizes as follows:

Integrated Building Design Award Winners

First Prize - $10,000 Cash Award
Includes travel to and from Award Ceremony for up to two (2) team members including two (2) hotel nights. Promotion of design ideas by Potomac Valley Brick and media.

Honorable Mentions — $2,000 Cash Award — Up to 3 Awards
Includes travel to and from Award Ceremony including two (2) hotel nights for up to two (2) team members. Promotion of design ideas by Potomac Valley Brick and media.

Technical Design Award Winners

First Prize — $7,500 prize Cash Award
Includes travel to and from the Award Ceremony for up to two (2) team members including two (2) hotel nights. Promotion of design ideas by Potomac Valley Brick and media.

Honorable Mention — $2,000 — Up to 3 Awards
Includes travel to and from Award Ceremony including two (2) hotel nights for up to two (2) team members. Promotion of design ideas by Potomac Valley Brick and media.

Winners will be notified of the competition results directly. A list of winning projects will be sent to all participants, as well as posted on the BrickStainable Competition websites.
